Who are we?
We are a group of women; volunteers, practitioners, and professionals, who have come together to offer a day of pampering, relaxation and renewal to women with cancer through the services that we offer below
Meditation
Learn to meditate in a relaxing atmosphere with a guided meditation. Having a regular
meditation practice has been proven to relax your nervous system, reduce your blood pressure, and improve your overall sense of well-being, among so many other benefits.
Healing Touch
Very similar to Reiki, Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing, heart-centered energy
therapy using gentle intentional touch that assists in balancing your physical, emotional, mental, and
spiritual well-being.
Reiki healing
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki treats you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually while creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing.
Massage
A smooth, gentle treatment that relieves muscular tension, increases circulation, and promotes a general sense of relaxation.
Yoga
Light gentle movements, stretching, and centering breathwork accompanied by a light neck and shoulder massage with a certified Yoga instructor.
Reiki Healing
Reki Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person. Studies and anecdotal evidence has shown that, in addition to promoting relaxtion among patients, Reiki can also be used to encourage healing and provide other benefits. In fact, some studies have even explored the effect of Reiki on patients who are undergoing cancer treatment concurrently. These studies have found that, although Reiki is not a substitute for other cancer treatments, it may enhance these treatments and offer a number of benefits to patients as they deal with the symptons and stresses of cancer. Reiki sessions are available at a discounted rate outside of the service day to those in treatment for cancer and just finishing.
